QC Laboratory Analyst – Near Leek

Permanent Opportunity

Salary: £30k depending on experience

Role
  • Working for a successful company as a quality control laboratory analyst you will be responsible for the following.
  • Ensure that the quality of product manufactured for our customers is of the highest quality.
  • Maintain a close working relationship with the Production Department.
  • Verify that incoming goods analysis and final analysis are conducted according to ISO 9001.
  • Provide analytical support to the manufacturing facility.
  • Perform product analysis according to the standards and procedures.
  • Verify that environmental analysis is conducted.
  • Input data into the SAP computer system and CoA database.
  • Record and maintain documentation of analytical data of raw materials.
  • Maintain responsibility for approval of raw materials prior to offloading.
  • Arrange for the timely calibration of all necessary lab equipment.
  • Manage and monitor the use of lab consumables.
  • Participate in audits as required.
  • Communicate promptly and interact effectively with colleagues.
  • Perform calibration of instruments used in the lab and record them.
  • Support production for in-process analysis when needed.
  • Be responsible for maintaining a reliable inventory of analytical reagents and spare parts.
  • Help with technical queries.
Skills and Attributes
  • Educated to degree level
