QC Laboratory Analyst – Near Leek

Salary: £30k depending on experience
Role
- Working for a successful company as a quality control laboratory analyst you will be responsible for the following.
- Ensure that the quality of product manufactured for our customers is of the highest quality.
- Maintain a close working relationship with the Production Department.
- Verify that incoming goods analysis and final analysis are conducted according to ISO 9001.
- Provide analytical support to the manufacturing facility.
- Perform product analysis according to the standards and procedures.
- Verify that environmental analysis is conducted.
- Input data into the SAP computer system and CoA database.
- Record and maintain documentation of analytical data of raw materials.
- Maintain responsibility for approval of raw materials prior to offloading.
- Arrange for the timely calibration of all necessary lab equipment.
- Manage and monitor the use of lab consumables.
- Participate in audits as required.
- Communicate promptly and interact effectively with colleagues.
- Perform calibration of instruments used in the lab and record them.
- Support production for in-process analysis when needed.
- Be responsible for maintaining a reliable inventory of analytical reagents and spare parts.
- Help with technical queries.
Skills and Attributes
- Educated to degree level
- Chemistry Degree
- Ideally previous experience working in Quality Control function
- Or a desire for a career in this sector
- Meticulous attention to detail
Hours
- 35 Hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- 7.30am – 3.30pm
