Job summary

Church & Dwight UK Ltd in Folkestone is seeking a student or recent graduate to join the Quality & Regulatory team. You will conduct analytical and microbiological testing, inspect incoming components, and support investigations into customer complaints while collaborating with production and R&D.

The role involves maintaining laboratory standards, coordinating lab supplies, and participating in cross-departmental projects across the business.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or postgraduate in a scientific subject.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated 'can do' attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Analytical testing of raw materials, bulk, and finished products using GC, IR, Karl Fischer, and viscometers.
• Microbiological testing of finished products and water samples.
• Inspect and release incoming components to ensure quality standards.
• Calibrate and perform routine maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in investigations of customer complaints to identify quality issues.
• Collaborate with production to address investigations and queries.
• Support R&D with stability testing and investigations.
• Manage ordering of laboratory chemicals and supplies.
• Keep the laboratory tidy and organized.
• Participate in cross-departmental project meetings.
