Job summary

SeAH Wind is seeking a Time Served Plater, Welder or Fabricator to join our quality team as a QC Inspector. You will inspect incoming steel, document traceability, and support welding and fabrication processes with precise measurements and records.

You will work with the Material Controller, ensure calibration, hold points in welding, and assist with non-conformances. A C&G or NVQ qualification and MEWP certification are preferred; opportunity for progression in a brand-new facility.

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting and documenting steel plates for production.
• Understanding inspection and test plans (ITP) and welding logs.
• Strong records management and traceability skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming steel plates and document traceability.
• Maintain records of plate alignments, can rolling, calibration and flange fit-up tolerances.
• Monitor hold points during welding and support Quality Inspector in ITP checks.
• Assist with non-conformance investigations and steel markings.
