Job description

Our client is currently recruiting a QC Inspector to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis in Insch.

Hours - Monday - Friday, 39 hours per week. Overtime available

The QC Inspector (Manufacturing) plays a critical role in ensuring that products meet established quality standards & specifications. You’ll be part of a tight-knit quality team that values mentorship, shared knowledge, and operational excellence

Overview of role

• Conducting pre-weld visual inspections, fit-ups, and post-weld assessments
• Verifying compliance with engineering drawings and welding procedures
• Identifying and documenting repairs and rework needs
• Assisting with the coordination and tracking of NDT activities
• Ensuring accurate and timely documentation and record-keeping of inspection results

Requirements

• Proven ability to interpret complex engineering drawings
• CSWIP 3.0 qualification desired
• Strong knowledge of various welding processes and techniques
• Familiarity with structural materials and workshop standards
