Job summary

Perrigo is seeking a Quality Control Analyst for a night-shift position in the UK. You will perform routine analytical testing of incoming materials, in-process bulk materials, finished products, stability samples, and environmental hygiene monitoring to ensure GMP compliance and product quality.

The role requires meticulous data recording, adherence to dataintegrity, and peer review of analyses. A hybrid working approach is offered with some days at home where feasible.

Qualifications

• GCSE English, Maths and Science (C) or equivalent.
• Minimum A-level in a science subject or equivalent.
• BSc in a relevant scientific subject desirable but not mandatory.
• Intermediate computer literacy with good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office packages.
• Acts in accordance with Perrigo’s core values.

Responsibilities

Description Overview

Join Perrigo as a Quality Control Analyst. You will undertake routine physical, chemical and microbiological analysis of incoming raw materials, in-process bulk materials, finished products, stability, and non-routine analysis as specified. To undertake the microbiological environmental and hygiene monitoring, purified water testing and PET testing as needed.

The position is for a Night Shift Role. The working hours will be as follows: Sunday (night) 00:00 - 06:00 and Monday - Thursday 22:00 - 06:00.

Scope of the Role

• Analytical or Microbiological Testing
• Testing appropriate materials and products to the approved specification,method or protocol.
• Processing and recording of data for completed analysis adhering to dataintegrity and cGMP requirements.
• Peer review of completed analysis
• Investigation of non-conformance
• Report on and investigate instances of non-conformance in line with thelaboratory out-of-specification procedure.
• Routine Chemical and Microbiological testing of purified water
• Microbiological monitoring of process environments for microbiologicalcontamination
• Training and mentoring or trainee analysts, adhering to the parameters of thelaboratory training procedures
• To undertake such other reasonable duties as may be required from time to time tosupport the Perrigo business
• Consistently views product quality and GMP compliance as a personalresponsibility
• Takes ownership for quality in their area and / or activities conducted by them anddoes not assume that errors will be caught by someone else
• Only carries out tasks they are trained to complete and proactively highlights qualityissues and potential solutions to their leader

Experience Required

• GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in English Language, Maths and Science.
• Minimum A-level (or equivalent qualification) in a science-based subject.
• BSc in relevant scientific subject (or equivalent experience) is desirable but not mandatory.
• Intermediate computer literacy with good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office packages.
• Acts in accordance with Perrigo’s core values.
