Job summary

Sanofi Waterford is seeking a QC Analyst on a fixed-term, full-time basis to provide analytical chemistry support for manufacturing operations. You will engage with CI initiatives and ensure adherence to regulatory standards, cGLP and GMP requirements, while collaborating with QA, Production, Engineering and Planning teams.

The role requires a degree in science (chemistry/biochemistry) with at least two years of HPLC/Empower experience, and a proactive approach to training and process

Qualifications

  • Degree in Science (Chemistry or Biochemistry preferred).
  • Post-graduate studies to augment primary degree.
  • Operational experience of quality laboratories in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems, pharmaceutical manufacturing operations, cGLP requirements.
  • Understand relevant quality/compliance regulations.
  • Ability to manage projects to plan/budget.
  • Minimum two years HPLC/Empower experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical chemistry services to support Site manufacturing operations.
  • Interact with other departments on matters related to raw materials, intermediates and finished batch releases.
  • Maintain, update and issue chemical methods, specifications and SOPs in compliance with pharmacopoeial and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with training of analysts in areas of expertise and knowledge and in new methods, SOPs and updates.
  • Trend results, record COA where required and complete OOS investigations promptly.
  • Update the QC Team Leader on potential problems and highlight improvements using standard communication channels.
  • Ensure critical chemical testing and related equipment meets current validation requirements (IQ, OQ, PQ).
  • Audit and review chemistry test results daily and ensure compliance with cGLP.
  • Ensure all quality documentation and records are complete and current.
  • Support new product introduction projects.

Education
