Job summary

Sigma Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a QC Administrator to support the busy Quality Control team in Wales. No degree is required; training is provided and you will handle admin tasks that keep samples tested and results delivered to customers.

Flexitime lets you start between 7:30am and 9:30am, finish between 3:30pm and 5:30pm, Monday to Friday with no weekend work. The role offers a £27,000 base salary plus an annual bonus, with 24 holidays plus 8 bank holidays and a Christmas shutdown.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on administration experience with a genuine eye for detail.
• Good computer literacy and happy to learn new systems (Microsoft Office 365).
• No degree required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Book stability and project samples into the QC systems.
• Organise despatch of samples to partner testing laboratories, raising purchase orders and labelling correctly.
• Collect and trend data, create Certificates of Analysis and draft customer quotes.
• Complete and archive records, keeping the lab audit-ready.
• Prepare reagents and run basic sample checks once trained.
• Order consumables and support improvements across the lab.

• £27,000 and annual bonus

• No weekend or bank holiday working, with a shutdown from Christmas to the New Year.
• Holidays 24 days plus 8 Bank Holidays (increasing with length of service - one extra day for every 5 years to a maximum of 25 years)
