A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Quality Assurance Technician to join a leading chilled food manufacturer known for its high standards, strong values, and supportive culture.

The Role

You'll play a key part in ensuring the safety, quality, and compliance of all products on site. Working closely with production teams, you'll carry out quality checks, maintain BRC and customer compliance, and drive continuous improvement across operations.

This is a hands‑on, varied role where no two days are the same — covering everything from inspections and traceability checks to new product launches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor product quality, labelling, and temperature control.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in real time.
  • Carry out hygiene, ATP, gluten, and calibration checks.
  • Support investigations, customer complaint follow-ups, and traceability testing.
  • Maintain supplier and product specifications.
  • Assist NPD with product launches and technical documentation.
About You
  • Experience in a food manufacturing or QA environment.
  • Understanding of BRC, HACCP, and food safety standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
  • Proactive and adaptable, with a hands‑on approach.
