Job summary

Winthrop Technologies Ltd. is seeking an experienced QA/QC Lead to join our Blyth project team. This role will ensure mechanical works are delivered in accordance with project specs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

You will implement QA/QC procedures, inspect HVAC and piping, review ITPs, and coordinate with construction teams to drive continuous quality improvement on a data centre scale. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in mechanical QA/QC and excellent communication to support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of QA/QC experience in mechanical construction.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC standards and documentation.
• Experience with HVAC, piping, and mechanical services inspection.
• Familiarity with ITPs, method statements, and quality reporting.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Experience in data centre or critical facilities is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures across the project lifecycle.
• Ensure mechanical installations meet specifications and standards.
• Conduct inspections of HVAC, piping and related services.
• Review and approve ITPs and method statements.
• Record NCRs and verify corrective actions.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation and reports.
• Support commissioning by ensuring quality documentation is complete.
• Attend site meetings and engineering reviews.
