Job summary

nudge Global Ltd. in London Victoria is seeking a QA Engineer to design, build and maintain automated tests across our applications and services, embedding quality throughout the development lifecycle.

You will work in a cross-functional product and engineering team, focusing on expanding automation, improving test coverage and delivering high-quality software at pace in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Solid SQL knowledge.
• API testing experience using Postman or similar tools.
• Integration testing experience.
• Experience with Cypress or Playwright.
• Angular and Typescript experience desirable.
• .NET with C# desirable.
• AI prompt engineering experience desirable.
• Agile experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive quality throughout the change lifecycle in a cross-disciplinary team.
• Test complex code changes across multiple testing types.
• Ensure the platform meets quality standards and customer expectations.

Job description

Job Title: QA Engineer
Location: London Victoria, Hybrid
Reports to: QA Manager

Role purpose

As a QA Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our platform by designing, building, and maintaining automated tests across our applications and services.

You’ll work as part of a cross-functional product and engineering team, embedding quality throughout the development lifecycle and helping us increase automation, improve test coverage and deliver high-quality software at pace.

What will you be doing?

Things move fast at nudge, and we are always learning. This means we need to stay agile, meaning the responsibilities of a role are never set in stone.

Responsibilities

• Driving quality throughout the change lifecycle, working in a cross-disciplinary team

• Testing of more complex code changes across multiple types of testing to deliver a platform

• that is fit for purpose and meets the quality standards that our customers expect, based on deep domain and technical expertise

• Understanding the importance of testing and the Quality Framework and driving it in other disciplines

• Automate testing where appropriate, updating and streamlining the test automation framework & coding standards deployed within the team

Skills and experience

To help you do all this, you will need:
