Qualifications

  • Strong experience in manual testing of complex web and/or mobile software applications.
  • Experience testing in a regulated, clinical, or safety-critical environment is an advantage.
  • Ability to work with BDD-style user stories and acceptance criteria.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • De-risking releases - ensuring confidence across clinical workflows.
  • Manual and automated testing - the growing complexity of the product and use cases means more structured, consistent testing is required.
  • Applying quality expertise - helping the team avoid regressions, ensure safety, and maintain high trust in the product.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams - including engineers, product managers, clinicians, and regulatory colleagues.
  • Working on patient-facing NHS software - direct clinical impact.
  • High‑stakes delivery - ensuring confidence in each release.
  • Sprint‑based development - mix of feature, bugfix, and compliance‑focused work.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Tools and technologies - Working with Slack, Jira, Google Docs, and modern browser‑based tools.
  • Strong experience in manual testing of complex web and/or mobile software applications.
  • Has tested clinical, NHS, or regulated health software.
  • Ability to write and maintain structured, reusable test cases and regression packs.
  • Comfortable working in agile sprint teams and testing from user stories, designs, and requirements.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking and triage tools (e.g. Jira, TestRail).
  • Experience testing in a regulated, clinical, or safety‑critical environment is a strong advantage.
  • Structured exploratory testing approaches.
  • Regression testing and risk‑based prioritisation.
  • Traceability and documentation best practices in regulated environments.
  • Working with BDD‑style user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Familiarity with software release lifecycle and UAT processes.
