National Grid is hiring a number of QA Engineers on a permanent basis. The location for this role can be based in Warwick, Bristol, Castle Donnington or possibly other UK Wide locations - We offer a hybrid working model.
Reporting to the Head of QA Engineering, this is a high-impact opportunity for a passionate QA Engineer to shape the future of software quality across cloud and on-premise platforms. You'll design and manage testing strategies, tools, and systems that support fast-moving development teams and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
You'll lead the charge on automation, resilience, and performance-minimising defects and driving operational excellence across diverse environments. Your work will be critical in ensuring our platforms meet the highest standards of reliability, efficiency, and compliance.
As a subject matter expert, you'll foster collaboration, mentor peers, and champion Agile principles-helping teams embrace a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement. You'll also have the opportunity to deputise for the Head of QA Engineering and play a key role in shaping a positive, high-performance culture across Technology and the wider business.
A competitive salary between £55,000 - £65,000 dependent on capability
As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
