Job summary

Uniguest is seeking a QA Engineer to ensure quality across IPTV, digital signage, and enterprise cloud-based solutions. You will drive the full QA lifecycle from test planning to release validation, ensuring products meet business and user expectations.

Responsibilities include creating test plans, executing manual tests across Linux, Windows, macOS, and web interfaces, building test environments, and documenting defects with clear steps.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a Test Engineering role.
• Experience with Linux, scripting (PHP, Bash), and cloud networking.
• Experience testing web-based apps on Windows and macOS.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence; data security considerations desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality of assigned product areas, ensuring releases meet product manager and end-user expectations.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to create clear test plans and test cases for end-to-end workflows.
• Implement and execute manual test plans across Linux, Windows, macOS, and web-based interfaces.
• Build, configure, and maintain test systems, including virtualised environments (VMWare) and cloud deployments.
• Identify, reproduce, and document defects with clear replication paths.
• Work with development teams to triage issues and verify fixes.
• Support the QA team in preparing and releasing software builds.
• Review release notes, user guides, and technical docs for accuracy and clarity.
• Provide feedback on design documents and quality specifications.
• Gain deep knowledge of Uniguest technologies, hardware/software interactions, and system behaviours.
