Job summary

CPS Group are supporting a Financial Services organisation in Cardiff seeking an experienced QA Engineer to own testing across the development lifecycle.

The role is hands-on, requires automation alongside UI/API testing, and mentoring of junior QA team members. It offers hybrid working from Cardiff with an up-to-£45,000 salary plus annual bonus and opportunities to drive quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience across both manual and automated testing.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright or WebdriverIO.
• Experience with Cucumber or another BDD framework.
• Working knowledge of Java or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• API testing experience and experience with CI/CD pipelines.

QA Engineer

CPS Group are supporting a Financial Services organisation experiencing recent growth, who are looking to add an experienced QA Engineer to their team.

This is a hands-on position where you'll take ownership of testing throughout the development lifecycle, working closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure quality from requirements through to release.

The Role

• Own the testing approach for features from requirements through to production.


• Design and maintain automated tests across UI, API and integration layers.


• Work with Playwright or WebdriverIO, alongside Cucumber/BDD.
