Job summary

Salt Search is seeking a DV-cleared QA Engineer with strong automation experience to work on critical UK services. You will write and maintain automated tests, test APIs and integrations, and help engineering teams build quality in from the start.

You will be hands-on, building test frameworks, conducting API and end-to-end testing, and working with CI/CD pipelines to improve testing processes and tooling across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• DV clearance is required and must be active
• Solid commercial QA/testing experience
• Strong test automation skills
• Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or REST Assured
• Good understanding of CI/CD and modern testing practices
• Hands-on, curious problem solving approach

Candidates MUST have active, current and valid DV clearance - nothing less

DV Cleared, QA Engineer, Automation, On Site 5 days a week at any of the following location; London, Manchester, Ipswich or Cheltenham.

A global firm are looking for a DV Cleared QA Engineer with strong automation experience to work on technology that supports some of the UK's most critical services.

You'll be hands-on - writing and maintaining automated tests, testing APIs and integrations, investigating defects and helping engineering teams build quality in from the start.

You'll be doing things like:

• Building and maintaining automated test frameworks and test suites
• Functional, integration and regression testing
• API and end-to-end testing
• Working with CI/CD pipelines and development teams
• Investigating issues and driving defects through to resolution
• Improving testing processes, tooling and automation

You'll bring:

• Active/ current valid DV clearance
• Solid commercial QA/testing experience
• Strong test automation skills
• Experience with tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, REST Assured or similar
• Good understanding of CI/CD and modern testing practices
• A curious, hands-on approach to problem solving

Experience in secure, regulated or mission-critical environments is a bonus, not a must.
