About You

  • 3+ years overall QA experience
  • Demonstrated experience in test planning, test design, test strategy, and test execution
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to work autonomously with minimal direction
  • Strong sense of quality ownership
  • Highly result-oriented and proactive
  • Lifelong learner and passionate about learning new things and taking on new challenges
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficient with bug tracking and test management toolsets to support development processes
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows, Linux, Mac OS X
  • Experience with Scrum development processes
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience
  • English – intermediate or higher

Extra Awesome

  • Experience with performance and load testing (JMeter)
  • Experience in automated testing
  • Knowledge of Java, 4GL
  • Knowledge of SQL and scripting

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all development tasks meet quality criteria through test planning, test execution, quality assurance, and issue tracking
  • Defining test strategy and test plans and reviewing them with stakeholders
  • Creating maintainable test artifacts also traceable to requirements
  • Improving test coverage
  • Contributing toward predictable delivery of quality release
  • Using the appropriate measures and KPIs to validate and report on software quality
  • Identifying quality assurance process bottlenecks and suggesting actions for improvement
