What you’ll do at Elekta

As a QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our local Quality Management System, ensuring process compliance and driving continuous improvement.

Your primary focus will be on internal audits and maintaining adherence to regulatory standards, particularly ISO 13485. You will work cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs, and other teams to drive quality performance and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and participate in internal audits across the business
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, ISO 14971, MDR, QSR, and related standards
  • Support the execution of compliance projects through to completion
  • Represent QA in functional processes including CAPA, Order Fulfilment, and Manufacturing
  • Assist process owners in defining and implementing process changes and system improvements
  • Analyse process data and trends to drive optimisation
  • Prepare and report monthly QA metrics
  • Provide quality support and technical guidance to cross-functional teams
  • Promote a quality mindset and adherence to Elekta values across the business

What you bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or equivalent experience
  • ISO 13485 Internal Auditor Certification
  • Hands-on experience in a QA role within a regulated (preferably medical device) environment
  • Familiarity with MDR, QSR, CMDR, IEC standards, and risk management practices
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., CAPA, Root Cause Analysis)
  • Experience with quality improvement techniques like Lean, Six Sigma, or DOE is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality systems
  • Excellent in English (verbal and written)
