Vickerstock, in partnership with a food manufacturing business, is recruiting a Quality Assurance Coordinator based in Cookstown, Northern Ireland. You will support the Technical Manager to maintain and improve food safety, quality and technical standards across the site.

This hands-on role suits someone with experience in food manufacturing, QA or food safety who enjoys working with Production and aims to develop their career in a busy manufacturing environment.

Formación

• Experience in food manufacturing, QA, or food safety is desirable.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and HACCP principles.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and follow procedures.
• Ability to identify and report food safety and quality issues.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out daily pre-production, hygiene, PPE, cleaning and GMP checks.
• Complete routine temperature, weight, equipment and quality checks throughout production.
• Ensure products meet required Quality Assurance Standards.
• Review and maintain production, packing, raw material and quality records.
• Support product coding, traceability exercises and mock recalls.
• Support the Technical Manager with the HACCP system and monitoring of HACCP controls.
• Carry out hygiene, departmental, glass and GMP audits.
• Assist with corrective and preventative actions following audits and non-conformances.
• Support investigations into quality issues and customer complaints.
• Complete product taste panels and sensory checks.
• Maintain and update QAS documentation and technical records.
