Automation Engineer Consulting (Greenfield Project)

This is a remote position.

Location: Fully Remote (UK applicants only)

Contract: Fixed Term Contract (FTC)

Salary: 50000

Start: Immediate

We are working with a leading Consulting firm seeking an Automation Engineer to join a greenfield engagement helping a client establish automation frameworks and CI / CD pipelines from scratch. You'll be the go-to person for automation strategy and delivery in a modern cloud-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build robust automation frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript or Javascript)
• Set up and manage CI / CD pipelines ideally within Azure DevOps
• Collaborate with client development and QA teams to embed automation throughout delivery
• Contribute to testing and deployment within cloud environments (preferably Azure)
• Champion automation best practices in a consulting-led greenfield setting

Skills & Experience

• Strong background in test automation for web applications
• Proficiency with Playwright
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps pipelines and version control
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure AWS or GCP)
• Self-starter who thrives in a remote fast-paced consulting environment
