Job summary

Weightmans is seeking a QA Architect to define, govern, and evolve the organisation-wide testing strategy, frameworks, and standards across all technology initiatives in the Liverpool region. The role ensures testing is integrated throughout the delivery lifecycle and that test frameworks are applied to a range of technology initiatives, reducing the risk of bugs in Production environments.

• Experience designing and implementing organisation-wide testing strategies.
• Proven ability to establish testing frameworks and standards across delivery teams.
• Leading test design, tooling and governance across projects.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain testing strategy across functional, non-functional, security, performance, and integration testing.
• Design end-to-end test architectures including environments and tooling.
• Lead adoption of test automation frameworks for regression, API and performance testing.
• Drive continuous testing and integration with dev pipelines.
• Ensure quality gates are met before production releases.
• Provide test planning, execution and reporting support to project teams.
