Job summary

Graphcore is seeking a Software Engineer to join the PyTorch team. You will help build software that connects Graphcore accelerators with state-of-the-art ML frameworks, designing, implementing, and optimizing features across PyTorch, Triton and related technologies.

You will contribute to upstream PyTorch, support hybrid Python and C++ extensions, and help integrate compiler backend capabilities with torch.compile.

Qualifications

• Strong core software engineering skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Experience developing Python libraries for production use.
• Experience building performant C++ applications in a commercial setting.
• Understanding of linear algebra, floating-point arithmetic or numerical analysis.
• Confident using Git and code reviews in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Help connect Graphcore accelerators with PyTorch and related frameworks.
• Contribute to upstream PyTorch and support hybrid Python/C++ extensions.
• Integrate compiler backend capabilities with torch.compile and related tooling.
