Citi London is seeking a Python Risk Developer to join the Commodities Risk Technology team. The role focuses on building a high-performance, distributed Python-based micro-services platform with RabbitMQ and OpenShift/Kubernetes deployment.

You will collaborate with Traders, Risk Managers, and analytics teams to deliver robust risk solutions, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to continuous learning in a fast-paced front-office environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Python development with SQL Server and Parquet exposure.
• Experience in distributed micro-services architecture and fault-tolerant design.
• Familiarity with risk/commodities trading domains preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-performing Python micro-services.
• Collaborate with Traders and Risk Managers to gather requirements and resolve issues.
• Integrate Market Data and analytics libraries into the Risk Platform.
• Coordinate with global Citi teams to ensure consistency and delivery.
