Job summary

A sports betting technology firm in London is seeking a Python Engineer to develop tools and systems for traders. The successful candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in Python development and must be able to write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code using OOP. Responsibilities include building data pipelines, troubleshooting data quality issues, and analyzing sports betting data. This position offers a performance-based bonus scheme, learning and development support, and 30 days of annual leave.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years experience in Python development with OOP.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable and well-structured Python code using OOP principles.
• Familiarity with Docker / containers.
• Basic understanding of APIs (REST).

Responsibilities

• Develop internal tools and systems to support traders.
• Build and maintain end-to-end sports data pipelines.
• Monitor, investigate, and troubleshoot data quality issues.
• Maintain and enhance existing software projects.
• Analyse sports betting data and communicate actionable insights.
• Collaborate closely with users and stakeholders.
