Job summary

A growing software consultancy is seeking a Mid-Level Python Developer in Manchester. This role involves designing, developing, and testing software, primarily in Python, and engaging with AWS solutions while collaborating in an agile team. Ideal candidates will have over 4 years of experience with CI/CD methodologies, showcasing their capabilities in a client-facing context, and must be eligible for UK Security Clearance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of proven experience developing in Python (full stack additionally).
• Knowledge of CI/CD, testing practices, and agile delivery methods.
• Experience working in a consulting or client-facing role is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software using Python.
• Build and deploy solutions in AWS (and occasionally Azure or private cloud).
• Work across the full software lifecycle – from requirements through to delivery and support.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues in an agile environment.
