Job summary

Nuvion Tech in the United Kingdom is seeking a contract Python Developer to build software and own how it gets into production. This role requires hands-on work across development and delivery, collaborating with product and stakeholders to explain trade-offs and keep work moving.

You will run with FastAPI/Flask/Django, manage Azure DevOps pipelines and Terraform or Bicep, and operate at pace in a hybrid UK environment with immediate or short notice start.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Azure DevOps: pipelines, repo strategy, artefacts, release process
• Solid CI/CD judgement — you have owned this, not just used someone else’s setup
• Clear communicator; comfortable in the room, not only on Slack
• Happy working inside IR35 via an approved umbrella / PAYE route
• FastAPI / Flask / Django
• Terraform or Bicep
• Commercial or consumer-facing platforms

Contract Python Developer needed to build software and own how it gets into production.

This is not a ticket-only engagement. You will work with delivery, product and stakeholders, explain trade-offs clearly, and keep work moving. If you prefer to sit in the backlog and only work Jira items, do not apply.
