You will build and support models, design practical technical solutions, drive architecture decisions, and collaborate with quants, traders and engineers on Greenfield Python and Go projects, emphasizing speed and accuracy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a Python software development role.
• Significant experience with Python 3.10+ and Go; JavaScript/TypeScript is a plus.
• Familiarity with distributed messaging and monitoring tools.

The company operates as a software sports betting business based in London, developing systematic trading models within the quantitative sports betting sector.

• Build and support systematic trading models working closely with quantitative researchers and engineers
• Design and sustain technical solutions that pragmatically address complex real-world business challenges
• Take on tasks, actively solve problems, and contribute to delivery
• Lead architecture decisions that align with company standards and ensure these are well understood across the team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, quants, and traders, to improve system effectiveness with a focus on flexibility, speed, and accuracy
• Work on Greenfield Python and Golang projects

• 3+ Years of experience in a Python Software Development role
• Significant part of childhood spent hacking away in 8-bit assembly language
• Python 3.10+, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Go
• RabbitMQ, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis, Linux servers, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and Zabbix
• Nice to have: Interest in functional programming and its application in the real world
