Salt Search in Cambridge is seeking a mid-level software engineer with at least 2 years of commercial Python experience to join our AI & cybersecurity R&D team. The role is hybrid, with 2 days per week in the office, and offers a salary of £55,000–£70,000.

Qualifications

An exciting AI & Cyber Security technology business in Cambridge are growing their R&D team.

You'll be working on some genuinely interesting problems across AI, cybersecurity and software engineering, helping build technology that detects and responds to new and evolving cyber threats.

What you'll be doing

• Lead and contribute to technically challenging R&D projects.
• Design and build production-quality software.
• Help shape technical direction and architecture.
• Work across teams and mentor other engineers.
• Explore new ideas and turn prototypes into scalable solutions.
