Job summary
Vodafone is seeking a Software Development Specialist to automate operational processes and build scalable Python services. You will work in our Digital Operations Teams, using modern CI/CD tools and agile practices to transform Vodafone's software landscape.
You’ll collaborate with senior developers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions on time. You’ll gain exposure to cutting-edge tooling, open-source software, and a structured, supportive environment, with opportunities to grow
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering (or equivalent).
- 3–5 years experience in Python coding and deploying real-world services.
- Knowledge of databases (SQL and/or noSQL).
- Know how in CI/CD tools (GitLab, ADO).
- Scripting, command line and Linux administration knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Develop software as part of a dynamic team using agile methodologies.
- Design intelligent solutions that meet requirements and are maintainable.
- Drive solution design for solid, flexible, extendable software.
- Stay up to date with current and future technological trends.
- Contribute to end-to-end development lifecycle and code quality.
