Job summary

Client Server Limited in London is seeking a Software Engineer with strong Python and commercial AI experience to design and deliver production AI-driven software across the business.

You'll work with AI leads and domain experts, prototype with real data, deploy solutions, and help build the company's AI engineering capabilities. The role offers London office-based work with the flexibility to work from home twice a week, with a salary up to £120k.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of software engineering fundamentals.
• Strong backend Python coding skills.
• Experience applying LLMs, retrieval, tool use or evaluation.
• Ability to work with technical and non-technical users and make trade-offs.
• Comfort moving between fast experiments and production code.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams across Development, Project Delivery, Investment, Asset Management and Trading.
• Prototype using real data and build production software across Python, APIs, data integration and lightweight frontends.
• Own solutions through deployment and early production operation, including testing, security, monitoring and resilience.
• Help establish reusable AI engineering capabilities and practical patterns for model access, deployment and observability.
