Epwin Group, based in the United Kingdom, is seeking a Manufacturing Process Improvement Lead to drive PVC extrusion and raw material processing optimisations. You will run production trials, engage suppliers, analyse data and resolve production issues while managing materials processing, mixing, and granulation areas.

You will lead continuous improvement initiatives, reduce scrap and costs, present performance data to senior management, and mentor junior technicians on technical and process

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience in PVC extrusion or similar polymer processing.
• Strong troubleshooting and a methodical approach to problem solving.
• Capable of interpreting technical data and using it to inform process decisions.
• Experienced in supplier engagement and trial coordination.
• Able to coach others on technical and process best practices.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Access; adaptable to new software.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions within defined parameters.
• Assertive to ensure compliance with procedures.
• Able to explain processes / procedures and train others.
• Identify cost-saving measures and improvement activities.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coach the manufacturing team to meet productivity and quality targets.
• Manage critical spares and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Oversee implementation of new business processes.
• Troubleshoot and improve processes to reduce downtime and scrap.
• Analyse process data and present findings to senior management.
• Develop and maintain detailed technical records of trials and changes.
• Provide technical support and mentoring to junior technicians and operators.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence on the shop floor.
