Full-time, Brinkworth, Technical O&M

Are you tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and passionate about renewable energy? We’re looking for a PV Monitoring Technician to be the eyes and ears of our solar farm operations. From remote monitoring and fault detection to performance analysis and reporting, you'll play a key role in ensuring our solar farms run at peak performance. If you love diving into data, solving problems fast, and making an impact behind the scenes, this is your moment to shine.

Your Tasks
  • Remote monitoring of Solar Farm from a system perspective to individual components
  • Accessing and configuring web interfaces of components through VPN
  • Fault finding and reporting. Swift response to faults
  • Performance analysis and reporting
  • Comparison between Yield forecasts and measured data
  • Assisting with the monthly reports creation
  • Contractual performance targets calculation
  • Generating and compiling data for reporting to portfolio managers and management
  • Detailed record keeping
Your profile
  • Engineering (Electrical or other) degree or equivalent level of qualification is required
  • Good understanding of calculation sheets software and computer networks
  • Previous knowledge of PV systems is highly desirable
  • Eager to learn, self-driven, focused and results oriented
  • Innovative with sound judgement and solutions driven
  • The ability to foster self-motivation to achieve tight deadlines
  • Computer literate - Advanced Excel
  • Happy to work weekends on a rota
