Job summary

The Global Investment Bank in London is seeking a Senior MS Purview IRM Architect to drive the design and implementation of information protection capabilities in a major cyber security transformation. You will lead efforts across governance, security, and data teams to deliver scalable, compliant protections.

You will work closely with Security, Compliance, Architecture, Legal and Data Governance to establish effective policies, labelling, and migration strategies in a highly regulated

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Purview IRM and information protection experience.
• Knowledge of M365 security and compliance: EOP, SPOnline, OneDrive, Teams.
• Experience designing taxonomies, auto-labelling, and protection policies.
• Understanding of DLP, sensitive information types, and lifecycle governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design and implementation of Purview IRM capabilities.
• Define sensitivity labels, encryption policies and access control models.
• Design enterprise label taxonomies, auto-labelling and protection templates.
• Assess current capabilities; define target-state architectures and roadmaps.
• Provide SME on IRM, DLP, data classification and governance.
• Collaborate with Security, Compliance, Legal, Data Governance and Infra teams.
• Support pilots, rollouts, testing, and user adoption; produce runbooks.
• Ensure alignment with GDPR and enterprise security standards.
• Provide technical leadership throughout design, build, testing and deployment.
