Job summary

A leading manufacturer in animal health is seeking a Purification Shift Technician to operate process plant equipment and manufacture purified antigens for vaccines. The ideal candidate will have experience in pharmaceutical production and strong IT skills. This permanent role near Pirbright requires flexibility with weekend shifts. Candidates must have entitlement to work in the UK.

Overview

CK Group are recruiting for a Purification Shift Technician to join a global animal health company near Pirbright on a permanent basis.

This role requires flexibility, including weekend shift cover, and collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain process plant equipment according to standard operating procedures
  • Manufacture purified antigens for FMD and BTV vaccines efficiently and cost-effectively, meeting all HSE, GMP, and biosecurity standards
  • Conduct laboratory tests throughout the production process, recording findings accurately
  • Document deviations and investigations, liaising with QA as needed
  • Perform aseptic manipulations of products
