  • Creating correct shipping paperwork.
  • Arranging deliveries via couriers.
  • Maintaining stock levels.

Purchasing & Logistics Administrator required for Cam based Engineering company paying c (phone number removed) hours pw, 25 days holiday + stats. GL11 area of Cam.

Our client provides high tech engineering solutions to a variety of industries including Nuclear, Automotive, Aerospace and Research & Development. Our client has a workforce of 11, the majority of whom have been with the business since it started in 2006. As this is a small workforce you are more than just a number and your role will be crucial in supporting the business to continue to grow.

Responsibilities
  • purchasing of all materials
  • creating purchasing BOM's to ensure accurate materials costs
  • working from engineering drawings to establish what materials are required and ensuring they are in stock
  • booking in deliveries
  • checking invoices prior to sending to accounts for payment
  • creating correct shipping paperwork
  • arranging deliveries etc. via couriers
  • ensuring that stock levels are maintained at agreed levels
Qualifications
  • be familiar with using MS Office, particularly Excel
  • good telephone manner
  • previous experience of working in an office environment, preferably manufacturing/engineering
  • ability to work on your own initiative once trained

Working hours Monday to Thursday 8.30 - 5.00 Friday 8.30 to 2.00
