Job summary

Leyland Trucks, part of PACCAR, is recruiting a Purchasing Commodity Manager in Leyland, Lancashire. The role leads sourcing, negotiations and supplier management across UK/Europe and South America, delivering value and performance improvements.

The successful candidate will develop commodity strategies, influence cross-functional teams and build strong supplier relationships to drive cost reduction and quality.

Your duties as the Purchasing Commodity Manager include:

• Sourcing and Negotiation: Lead sourcing, negotiation and supplier management activity within your commodity area
• Commodity Strategy: Develop and implement commodity strategies that support business objectives and purchasing priorities
• Project Delivery: Lead and influence cross-functional teams to deliver sourcing and product change projects
