Job description

As a Purchasing Administrator, you'll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly. This role offers genuine quick progression to a Buyer role as long as you are willing to learn.

Working alongside the existing purchasing and operations team, you'll be involved in:

Responsibilities
  • Monitoring and forecasting stock levels
  • Liaising with suppliers and internal teams
  • Placing and tracking purchase orders
  • Negotiating prices and evaluating suppliers
  • Ensuring certification and documentation accuracy
  • Maintaining records using Sage 50/200/Construct (or similar)
  • Supporting continuous improvement within the purchasing function
About You
  • Has experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Possesses strong communication and organisational skills
  • Can prioritise tasks and work both independently and as part of a team
  • Is confident using Microsoft Office and business systems
  • Has excellent attention to detail and written/spoken English
  • Experience in purchasing or materials control would be ideal, but full training and support will be provided.
