Role Purpose

As a Purchaser, the key purpose of your role is to purchase equipment in line with requests from the business

The Role
  • Contracted to 40hrs per week, Monday to Friday
  • To ensure all goods and services are delivered as required
  • To ensure all associated records are maintained to provide accurate data
Requirements
The Candidate
  • Proven record of a procurement role / supplier relationship management experience
  • Knowledge of and experience in the ordering of goods and services
  • Proficient in communicating with suppliers and negotiating costs
  • Mechanical and/or electrical product knowledge would be advantageous
  • Proven background in Administration, purchasing and logistics
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
