NLB Solutions is recruiting a Purchase Ledger Clerk for a St Albans-based role. You will join a small team of three and learn alongside them on a long-term basis, handling daily invoicing tasks and supplier queries.

The role is based on the outskirts of St Albans with parking and supportive managers. You will ensure accurate data entry, VAT treatment, and maintain supplier accounts while contributing to efficient financial processes in a busy environment.

Formación

• 12+ months experience in a similar finance role
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP)
• Solution-oriented and problem-solving
• Ability to build relationships with colleagues and suppliers
• Administrative support skills

Responsabilidades

• Enter data from invoices with correct coding and VAT
• Check invoices for auto-matching issues
• Raise and follow up queries weekly until resolved
• Process high volumes of data
• Follow authorisation procedures for invoices and credits
• Maintain supplier accounts and bank details
• Reconcile supplier statements
• Liaise with colleagues and suppliers to resolve queries
