A leading recruitment agency in Greater London is seeking a Finance Assistant to manage the Purchase Ledger function and support the finance team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience and be confident using Excel and accounting systems. This full-time role offers a competitive salary of £28,000 – £30,000, along with benefits including 20 days holiday, pension scheme, and free parking.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Confident using software such as Excel and accounting systems.

Responsibilities

  • Processing supplier invoices against purchase orders.
  • Reconciling supplier statements.
  • Managing accounts and purchase ledger inboxes.
  • Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Preparing weekly payment runs.
  • Processing employee expenses.
  • Processing credit card statements.
  • Preparing daily bank reconciliations.
  • Answering telephone queries.
  • Supporting the finance team with ad hoc tasks.
