The Role

On Event Production Co. has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, and adaptable individual to join our team as a Purchase Ledger Clerk.

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated individual to join our accounts team. The primary focus of this role will be on purchase ledger processing and will involve other accounts administration. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to contribute to a vital function within our organisation.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of experience in a purchase ledger role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process purchase invoices and ensure they are accurately recorded.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Assist with the preparation of payment runs.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of all transactions.
  • Communicate with suppliers and members of the team to resolve any invoice queries.
  • Process employee credit card receipts and ensure they are accurately recorded.
  • Support the finance team with other accounts tasks as required.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a purchase ledger role is essential.
  • A passion for numbers, accuracy and efficiency.
  • Strong attention to detail and procedures.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Sage accounting software and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Responsible, assertive, approachable, adaptable, honest, tactful, and diplomatic.
