Your new company An established organisation which operates in the manufacturing sector is seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their supportive and collaborative finance team on a permanent basis.

They are based in Cwmbran, South Wales and offer a hybrid working arrangement (50/50 split between office and home). Your new role As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and maintaining strong relationships with vendors.

Key responsibilities
  • Matching, batching, and coding invoices in line with company procedures
  • Processing invoices and reconciling supplier statements
  • Managing invoice queries and liaising with suppliers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies
  • Preparing and assisting with payment runs
  • Supporting month-end processes and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
What you'll need to succeed
  • Previous experience in accounts payable or purchase ledger
  • Understanding of basic bookkeeping principles
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and Excel
