Job description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our clients team based in Broadstairs. This is an on-site role within a supportive and collaborative team.

Role Overview

In this position, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of the purchase ledger and procurement processes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing supplier invoices and payments
  • Providing procurement support to the Group's Business Units
  • Carrying out checks and setting up new suppliers
  • Raising purchase orders
  • Making electronic payments
  • Supporting the Finance Team with general administrative tasks as required
About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a purchase ledger role
  • Experience using Sage (preferred)
  • A solid understanding of the purchase ledger process, from purchase orders through to payment
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload in line with changing business needs
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team

This is a temporary role offering 1-2 months work.

Full-time hours ideally, working Monday to Friday. Immediate start required.
