Job summary

Whitburn Academy in West Lothian is seeking a Pupil Support Worker to join the school team. You will work under the teacher's direction in the classroom to support pupil learning, organise resources and carry out duties relating to pupil pastoral support.

This fixed-term post until 11 April 2027 offers part-time hours (27.5 per week) across 39 weeks per year, with duties including attendance support and liaising with pupils, parents and external agencies. PVG check is required.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting pupils in a classroom setting.
• Ability to support pupil learning and manage resources.
• Competence in routine clerical tasks and record keeping.

Responsibilities
