Job summary

South Ayrshire Council is seeking a Level 6 frontline worker to collaboratively support pupils with diverse educational, language and welfare needs across Ayrshire's schools. You will work with the pupil support coordinator to lead targeted programmes and ensure accessible education for pupils requiring intensive language support.

The role emphasises development and delivery of inclusive approaches, maximising attendance and bilingual and neurodiversity support within a busy school environment,

Qualifications

• PVG Scheme membership required before formal offer, or PVG Scheme update if already a member.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across education establishments to meet pupils' educational, care and welfare needs.
• Lead development and delivery of individual, group and whole-school approaches in specialist areas (attendance, bilingual support, neurodiversity, speech and language).
• Support day-to-day school operations as directed by the leadership team.
