Job summary

Southlanarkshire Council is seeking two permanent Principal Teachers for Larkhall Academy in Scotland. Location: Larkhall, 35 hours per week. Salary: Principal Teacher 3, £64,290 per year.

The posts will lead, manage and support colleagues, provide strategic direction, and drive curriculum development and quality assurance. The role includes contributing to school policy on behaviour management, reviewing professional learning needs, and leading whole-school policy implementation.

Responsibilities

• lead, manage and support the work of colleagues providing strategic direction and guidance as necessary
• lead curriculum development and quality assurance
• contribute to the development of school policy in relation to the behaviour management of pupils
• review and support professional needs, and performance of colleagues through career-long professional learning
• lead, implement and manage whole school policies including, where appropriate, guidance, pastoral care and behaviour support
