Job summary

Senovo is recruiting an Occupational Therapy Assistant for a specialist school in Barnet. The role focuses on practical pupil-centred activities to build independence, regulation and functional skills throughout the school day.

You will work under professional supervision delivering agreed OT activities and supporting the pupil's development in collaboration with therapists and classroom staff. Applicants should have experience in therapy support or SEN education; QTS is not required.

Qualifications

• Organised and able to support individual programmes.
• Encouraging and patient with pupils in SEN settings.
• Understand confidentiality and safeguarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy activities under supervision.
• Support sensory regulation and fine-motor development.
• Prepare resources, maintain equipment and record observations.
• Collaborate with therapists, teachers and support staff.
