Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Punjabi-speaking Care Assistant to provide domiciliary (home) care services to clients in their own homes. This role involves delivering person-centred care to help clients maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality personal care and support to clients in their own homes
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Support clients with mobility and transfers using appropriate moving and handling techniques
• Administer medications in accordance with care plans and prescribed protocols
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with eating and drinking as required
• Perform light domestic duties, including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe home environment
• Monitor and record clients' health, well-being, and any changes in condition
• Report concerns or changes to senior staff and healthcare professionals promptly
• Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation and promote well‑being
• Follow individual care plans and respect clients' choices, dignity, and independence
