Job summary

A renewable energy solutions company in the United Kingdom seeks a maintenance engineer to handle equipment booking, inspections, repairs, and testing. Responsibilities include dismantling and rebuilding components, maintaining accurate reports, and troubleshooting on-site. Ideal candidates will have a STEM qualification degree and excellent skills in heat pump maintenance. No prior experience is required as training will be provided. This role requires work on-site Monday to Thursday and from the office on Friday.

Qualifications

• Excellent skills in designing and maintaining heat pumps.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous knowledge of pumps and components is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify equipment for booking into the workshop maintenance system.
• Dismantle, clean, and inspect components.
• Rebuild equipment to specification and standards.
• Conduct testing and inspections of assemblies.
• Diagnose faults using a systematic approach.
• Prepare and maintain reports, RAMS, and job sheets accurately.
• Determine required parts and repairs.
• Oversee assembly, testing, and documentation.
• Attend site to troubleshoot and repair installed equipment.
• Provide updates to the workshop supervisor.
