Job summary

Ford & Stanley Talentwise is seeking a Pump Service Engineer to overhaul and test a wide range of pumps from a modern Birmingham workshop. You will also support customer site visits for inspections, maintenance and commissioning, contributing to high-quality service and equipment availability.

We value engineers with centrifugal pump experience, strong mechanical fitting skills, and the ability to read engineering drawings, with occasional travel and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience servicing, repairing or overhauling pumps and rotating equipment.
• Strong mechanical fitting and fault-finding skills.
• Experience working on centrifugal pumps.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• A flexible approach with willingness to travel occasionally for site-based work.
• Strong commitment to quality, safety and customer service.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Dismantling, inspecting, repairing and overhauling centrifugal pumps and rotating equipment.
• Support on-site inspections, fault finding and maintenance.
• Produce service reports and technical documentation.
• Assist installation and commissioning activities at customer sites.
• Ensure work is completed safely and to quality standards.
