Job summary

First Call Contract Services is seeking a Pump Engineer to install, service and repair submersible pump systems across London and the M25. You will diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance, and provide technical guidance to customers.

Qualifications

  • Experience working on submersible pump systems or a similar mechanical/electrical background.

Responsibilities

Location: London, within M25 (Field Based)

Salary: £31,000 - £42,000 DOE + Realistic OTE up to £63,000

Working Hours: Monday to Friday | 08:30am - 5:30pm

Whether you're already an experienced Pump Engineer or have transferable mechanical or electrical experience, you'll receive specialist training (depending on your current skill set) with the opportunity to progress into a fully autonomous Service Engineer.

The Role

Working across London and within the M25, you'll install, service and repair submersible ground, surface and foul water pump systems at both domestic and light commercial properties.

No two days are the same. You'll either work independently or as part of a small, supportive team, diagnosing faults, carrying out preventative maintenance and ensuring customers receive a first-class service every time.

Your responsibilities will include:

About You

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable and eager to continue developing their engineering career.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience working on submersible pump systems or a similar mechanical/electrical engineering background.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability.
  • A professional, customer-focused attitude.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A full UK driving licence, held for at least 12 months.
  • Be based in London or within the M25.
  • The right to work in the UK.
